The Audio Director of DOOM and the Visual Architect of Maryland Connoisseur Studio Reunite
TWINE | Established. 1997

THE EXILE - In 2008, After defining the "electro-organic" IDM sound of the era with seminal releases like Violets and Recorder (Ghostly International, Bip-Hop), the signal faded. The industry of the time could not support the fidelity of the world we wanted to build.
We entered a state of endodormancy, not a dissolution, but a survival mechanism.
THE DRIFT - For 18 years, we evolved separately. This separation was our Odyssey, a necessary arc away from the center to forget who we were so we could become something else.
THE MASTERY - Like the ancient myth, we traveled far from the source to master new worlds before returning:
-
Chad Mossholder became the Audio Director at id Software, defining the aggressive, industrial sonic landscape of the DOOM franchise.
-
Greg Malcolm founded Maryland Connoisseur Studio, pioneering high-end macro cinematography and hybrid virtual production focused on the cannabis industry.
THE RETURN - In 2026, the stasis breaks. ODYSSEY is the emerging sound of that distance collapsing. It represents the collision of two distinct masteries: the high-impact engineering of modern AAA gaming mixed with the microscopic textures of classic IDM.
TWINE | ODYSSEY
We are returning to the signature aesthetic we pioneered: emotional-cinematic, digital-glitch music with liminal mass, texture, and consequence.

In 2026, the drift ends.
The signal has finally reached the shore.
